REVIEW - Good Charlotte at the Guildhall

GIVE YOUR RATING OUT OF TEN
Bad Good

AS the members of Good Charlotte took to the Southampton Guildhall stage, an almighty scream went up from the sold out crowd.

With four top-selling albums under their belt, the pop-punk quintet from Maryland, USA, have apparently built up quite a following in our city.

With jeans slung low and black eye makeup in abundance, hundreds of teens packed the concert hall to see the band play hits including Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, The Anthem, The Chronicles of Life and Death and We Believe.

And judging by the sounds made by the mostly female audience, Good Charlotte did not disappoint.

Despite not being this reviewer's musical cup of tea, their infectious pop punk obviously appeals to the masses - and that's got to count for something.
