A lovely setting next to the river with a pets corner and kiddies adventure play area i couldnt have asked for anything more to keep the kids entertained whilst we chilled on the decked area of this lovely garden. The food was good value for money and served quite quickly as the pub overall was very busy. This wont be our last visit to this pub on our sunday days out.

IT's come a long way since it was known as Yew Tree Farm. That was in 1845 and it was converted into the first pub in the area with John Cox as the landlord. CONFIDENTLY billing itself as Southampton's premier gastro-pub, the award-winning White Star Tavern already has something of a reputation to live up to.
