IN her own words, Sylvia Bowers is 65 years young and her second home is on the stage.

Now she is showcasing her skills as part of the Daily Echo's Hampshire's Top Talent search.

We're asking members of the Hampshire public to show us their talents - and Sylvia answered our call with a video of her performing classic musical number Cabaret.

In full costume, she strutted round her kitchen blasting out the hit show's title track.

Sylvia, from Bryanstone Road, Bitterne, Southampton, said: "I just love singing. Cabaret really sums up my love of musicals.

"When I'm on the stage performing, it's my second home.

"I love classic tunes from the 1940s right through to modern day music. I'm 65 years young and I can give these youngsters a run for their money!"

Sylvia is also fond of dancing, and often enjoys a good old disco.
