Condemned 2: Bloodshot
Game Name: Condemned 2: Bloodshot
Platform: Xbox 360
Publisher: SEGA
Rating: 18 (BBFC)
Genre: First-Person-Shooter
When the original Condemned was released, the graphics were breathtaking and were quite possibly some the best that I had seen up to that point. With the release of Condemned 2: Bloodshot, developers Monolith have done exceptionally well at making a sequel with as much visual sex appeal as its predecessor.
Players control Ethan Thomas, a former Serial Crimes Unit Investigator that has been sworn back in to the force to track down his missing partner. Players will harness a plethora of weapons to aid them in their missions and will need to get to grips with the all-new and extremely intuitive combo fighting system in order to survive.
There is also a multiplayer mode available that has clearly just been bolted onto the game as an afterthought. Although there are a few muliplayer modes available, they are all a little dull and certainly not enough to keep players interested for very long.
Condemned is a great game for what it offer single player wise, with great graphics and sound that will have any gamer truly gripped. Monolith create a scarier atmosphere than reading a Stephen King novel in a dark room with a flashlight, and it would certainly not be wrong to say that it may actually be your underpants that are really condemned.
