Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (XB360)
Game Name: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Platform: Xbox 360
Publisher: Lucasarts
Classification: 3+ (PEGI)
Genre: Action
If you have ever watched the Star Wars films (and lets face it, who hasn't), it would be difficult not to fall in love with the Lego Star Wars series of games. The films story-line is shown in cut scenes and the action played through. The difference between this and the films is that everything is made out of Lego. Although this may sound like a strange combination at first, the result is something both amusing and nostalgic.
This is the first time that Episodes I, II and III have been available to Xbox 360 owners and they come bundled in the Complete Saga along with Episodes IV, V and VI . All 6 episodes in one little package with a few extras thrown in - not bad value at all.
The controls throughout are very simple and the game-play generally not too difficult, virtually anybody, man, woman or Lego creature can pick up this game and get straight into it.
Co-op mode is by far the best element of the game. There is nothing like teaming up with one of your mates (like Qui-Gon and Obi Wan) to defeat your enemies, even if by force.
Although the game does contain a few extras that have never been seen in the Lego Star Wars series before, there is probably not enough new features to attract people that have already played through the episodes in a previous release of the game. New comers on the other hand will love it.
Star Wars Lego is generally so simple but so playable and addictive, we can't wait for the new Lego Batman or Lego Indiana Jones.
