Long-View
WINCHESTER/ Manchester indie band Long-View are best-known for their single Further.
They've always had a strong Hampshire fan base: hardly surprising, as Rob and bass player Aidan Banks met and starting playing when they were at Thornden School in Chandler's Ford.
Tomorrow night's gig at the Wedgewood Rooms in Southsea is sure to have plenty of family and friends in the audience.
Rob says that the band will always try to write songs that relate to the experiences of the band's own generation and hopefully mean something to the audience.
Fans can look forward to hearing tracks from top 30 album Mercury and hopefully some new material too - the band are planning on releasing their next album this year.
Tickets: £8. Box office: 023 9286 3911.
2:44pm Friday 28th March 2008
