STORMING into the UK album charts at number 3 with their debut album Antidotes, Foals have announced a new UK tour this autumn - including a stop at Southampton Guildhall.
Last year was stratospheric for the band. Social outcasts of their local Oxfordshire scene, Foals begun playing house parties to avoid criticism.
From there, their popularity spawned and they soon found themselves playing clubs, gigs, show-stealing slots at all the major festivals, squats - anywhere with a soundsystem.
The year culminated in a brief appearance on Channel 4's Skins, an appearance on BBC2's Later with Jools Holland and a tour with Bloc Party.
Yannis Philippakis, Edwin Congreave, Walter Gervers, Jimmy Smith and Jack Bevan play Southampton Guildhall on October 12.
