IF you haven't been lucky enough to snap up tickets for The Courteeners' Southampton University show later this month, never fear.

The hard-working Manchester lads are back on the road this autumn and they play Portsmouth's Pyramid Centre on October 12.

With debut album St. Jude debuting at number four in the UK album charts while the band complete yet another sold out tour of the UK, The Courteeners have announced a fuller UK tour.

Including the band's biggest ever show at Manchester's world famous Apollo, a first time at another legendary venue, Glasgow Barrowlands, and another big night out at Birmingham's Academy, these new shows are yet more proof that the NME cover stars are set to make 2008 their own across the UK.

The Courteeners will also play selected festival dates across the summer and make their first visit to Japan before returning to the UK for the October shows.

n Tickets are £13.50 and go on sale today at 9am.

Box office: 023 9282 4355.
