The World War II shooter genre is history; the whole thing has gone stale. Luckily Infinity Ward have had the insight to see this and have zipped forward in time like Marty McFly to bring us Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

The warfare involved is certainly not the only thing that feels modern in this game, the graphics are some of the best to be seen and the gameplay is fast and frantic. This is modern gaming - This is Modern Warfare.

It would be near on impossible for any gamer, be it casual or hardcore to not drool from the mouth when watching the cut-scenes that are packed with dramatic, shocking and totally absorbing storyline.

Multiplayer has never been so much fun, not even with (dare I say it) Halo 3. I admit that I totally suck at this game online and that I get constantly shot, but it doesn't matter, I am simply happy to participate and be part of such a wonderful game.

As with many online games, the more you play, the higher your rank will become and as you start to climb up the ranks you will have more weapons and upgrades available to you.

Do not stand around waiting to be called up for duty, enlist today.
