Best Lighting, Sound and Effects
The nominations are as follows:
Barrie Wells for Oklahoma, Eastleigh Operatic and Musical Society. It was a welcome pleasure to be able to hear every word. Congratultions, an unusual achievement.
Ric Bailey for The Tempest, RAODS. He created a lush multi-layered soundscape, all self written and created.
Tom's Midnight Garden. Sound operation by Hugh Jones and design by Malcolm Brown. Sound was an essential aid to the drama.
A Bridge To the Stars, Gantry Youth Theatre. Sound - Simon Proctor, lighting - Seb Darbyshire. Original music - Alex Taylor. Stark set, excellent use of lighting, sound effects and original music.
Tom Williams for lighting, Malcolm Brown for Sound for Neville's Island by the Chesil Theatre. Audience were kept on the edge of their seats during the most poignant and dramatic moments by excellent use of effects.
Fred Brazier for lights and Julian Shaw for sound. The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery. Hamble Players. An integral part of this comedy of errors.
